Documentaries. Small business.
We love sharing stories.
SHORT FILMS AND DOCUMENTARIES
In 2018, Dan spent the Mother’s Day long weekend filming with a small team in the cold of the Snowy Mountains (the timing of this shoot is one he will never live down). Working with Director (slash genius) Simon Cunich, the end result of this labour of love was The Rolling Ground which went on to be nominated for Best Cinematography in the 2018 Byron Bay International Film Festival. The film was described as a “visual feast” and awarded Best Local Film in the 2018 Canberra Film Festival, and the Best Foreign Short at the 2019 Grand Budapest Film Festival.

SMALL AND LOCAL BUSINESSES
We’ve worked alongside some amazing small businesses to show off their talent and the goods and services they are providing. One of our favourites are Heirloom Films, creators of amazing keepsake films, interviewing parents, grandparents and family members to capture some of the incredible stories of their lives. We made a cinema ad for them, and continue to enjoy working with them on these incredibly personal projects.
Another of our long-time faves is local small business and candle making duo The Little Flame Co.
Not only have Nic and Cheyenne made candles that don’t set off my allergies, they’ve made them drop dead gorgeous and we love their environmental and sustainable ethos as well. We interviewed Cheyenne after she and Nic launched their custom-designed canisters, and created some content for her. She was kind enough to share with us the traction her first video from us received, with her highest non-paid rate of shares, and an increase of 334% reach and 232% engagement on her previously best-performing video posts from the same month.

EVENT coverage and television COMMERCIALS
We’ve produced television commercials and facebook videos for Canberra Handmade Market, promoting one of the things we are most passionate about: local, handmade business. The TVC we produced for them (succulent video below) had over 14,800 views on facebook, with more reached through television advertising. We have experience working for Prime7 in Canberra and can produce TVCs to maximise your advertising budget and ensure maximum airtime.
Weaving our personal and professional lives together, we often attend Pilates classes at Miracle Massage, but also love capturing their incredible ethos and the way they integrate Pilates and Massage through film and photography. We had the pleasure of rebuilding their website, and producing months worth of social media content for them over several shoots (and getting a free massage in the process, it’s a hard life!)
